Almost everybody knows car- and motorcycle-racing. That's where fast and exciting action
is taking place. But the ultimate in racing is racing airplanes! If groups of pilots
race close to ground level around a closed course in their planes, that´s not just a big
challenge for everybody involved, but also a pleasure for eyes and ears of the spectators.
Air Racing - the fastest motorsport on earth.
There are not many places, where air racing took place so far. Since 1964 a special place
was established: Reno, Nevada. 1998 was our first visit and we´ve been addicted instantly.
This website shows little bit of what can be seen there each year in September.
Beside photos and videos of racing airplanes you can discover a lot more on this website.
For example pictures from air shows and other - usually aviation-referred - stuff.
Various links will lead you to large amounts of background information and related topics.
